Pre-game Post 2

As with last week, here’s a playlist tailored to an upbeat pre-game. Not as upbeat as in the picture, but it’ll definitely help prepare you for that kind of a night.

Robyn’s “Dont Fucking Tell Me What To Do” stuck in my mind, with its incessant lyrics: “My (fill-in-the-blank) is killing me” accompanying a simple beat and catchy electro riff. The minimalism of the song is a great alternative to most other synth-laden, over-produced pop songs.
For something less moody, check out the Hello, Miami mash-up. It’s the first time I hear of D(J+F), and already I’m hoping to listen to more of his mash-ups.

Hey, so this is the first Pregame Post, because of course you need to warm-up before you get into the proper partying.

Here is a perfect collection of summer party songs, but don’t expect to see any radio hits here (well, except the LMFAO one – it was too good to exclude).
Check out the Greek re-do of We No Speak Americano, and the well-named “We Party” by Tiesto, Anger Dimmas, and Showtek (under the name of Boys Will Be Boys). But the one that surprised me most is Neon Teens by Hypster; it has disco influences that merge really well with an upbeat electro beat.
